Deep Diving into Enneagram Leadership Styles - Peacemakers

I’m back, refreshed, and rejuvenated after a wonderful two weeks in the Austrian Alps with my family. There’s something incredibly powerful about stepping away from our daily routines and immersing ourselves in nature. It’s a reminder that work-life harmony isn’t just a nice to have; it’s a necessity for thriving as leaders and as individuals. Now, I’m excited to return with a renewed sense of purpose and energy to continue our journey together.

What's Next? A Leadership Deep Dive with the Enneagram

Over the next two weeks, I’ll be sharing daily deep dives into the unique leadership styles of each Enneagram type. This series is all about exploring how different personality types express leadership and how you can leverage your strengths - and work through your challenges - to become a more effective, authentic leader.

Each day, I’ll break down one Enneagram type, highlighting:

  1. Core Traits – An overview of the key characteristics, fears, strengths, and weaknesses that define each type.

  2. Leadership Styles – Insights into how each type leads at various levels of health, from their most empowered selves to when they’re struggling.

  3. Adoptability – Guidance on how easily each type can adopt different leadership styles based on their natural tendencies.

  4. Practical Tips – Tailored advice for managing relationships up, down, and across the team hierarchy based on your Enneagram type.

  5. Compatibility – Understanding which types you’ll naturally gel with and which might require more effort to collaborate effectively.

  6. Famous Inspirations – Real-life leaders who exemplify each Enneagram type, offering you role models to inspire your leadership journey.

First Up: The Peacemaker (Type 9)

To kick things off, we’ll explore Type 9: The Peacemaker. Known for their calm, accepting, and supportive nature, Type 9s are natural harmonizers who seek to create peace and avoid conflict. However, their desire for harmony can sometimes lead to challenges, such as avoiding difficult conversations or struggling with decisiveness. In today’s carousel, we’ll delve into how Type 9s can leverage their peaceful energy to lead effectively at every level of health.
